Amazon to End Pay-per-Click Advertising Program in October

According to a report by Venture Beat, Amazon will terminate the program that allows businesses to divert traffic from the e-tailers’ platform to their own website in October. The move will hit small retailers the hardest, after they found the most success from the offering since it was introduced. It is likely that Amazon wants to restrict the many ads found on the bottom of Amazon search results, placed there by Google.
